Station Eleven came out of nowhere. I’d never heard of the novel upon which the TV series is based, let alone the series itself. I saw a trailer on it on HBO Max. Looked interesting. My wife and I checked it out … and we got hooked.
Plot summary: A post apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, telling the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what’s been lost.

It’s the best thing I’ve seen on TV this year. Highly recommend.
