This is an interesting read with some twists I did not see coming. The Big Twist is that what we *think* is a story with parallel timelines -- present and the Civil War -- is not what it appears. The structure of the story is also interesting: It has what appear to be three acts, each about 40 pages long. The Faulkner quote certainly fits the story: The past is not really the past.
The credibility of the Big Twist revelation completely depends upon whether the audience believes that there are secret societies such as Antebellum. I attended college and grad school which both had notable secret societies, including the Skull and Bones society.

So the fact is, they do exist. To the degree that someone could create an entire Civil War replica, that's a push. But it's likely to inspire water cooler conversations.
All in all, I enjoyed the script and the story. Look forward to digging deeper into it this week.
