SS, there's nothing wrong with first draft = final draft (presuming you've worked, reworked, and reworked the content throughout the "first" draft process). If you've got the time and there's no due date screaming down your neck, great. If, however, like screenwriting when there generally is a due date, often just 10-12 weeks for a feature film draft, then it's pretty much triage mode throughout. And especially for writing episodic TV.
