Spec Script Deal: “Untitled Potential Emma Stone Project”

Universal Pictures acquires an untitled drama comedy spec script written by Patrick Kang and Michael Levin. Via Deadline:

Fresh off a second Oscar win for her performance in Poor Things, Emma Stone is starting to put together her future slate. She is now in talks for an untitled film at Universal Pictures with Dave McCary, her husband, in talks to direct.

Patrick Kang and Michael Levin, supervising producers of NBC and UTV’s Young Rock, wrote the original spec screenplay for the film. Details on the plot are under wraps.

Kang and Levin are repped by Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment.
