Spec Script Deal: “Undying”

Netflix acquires thriller spec script “Undying” written by Ben Ketai. Via Deadline:

Described as an erotic thriller with a supernatural twist, Undying follows a woman, suffocated by motherhood, who has an affair with a man she hasn’t seen since high school… only to discover a terrifying secret.

Deadline reports that the deal was for “mid-six against seven figures.”

Date announcement was made: October 30, 2023.

Ketai is repped by Writ Large and Independent Artist Group.

By my count, this was the 8th spec script deal announced in 2023.
