Amazon MGM acquires action comedy spec script “Tough Guys” written by Daniel Gold. Via Deadline:

Two henchmen who are tired of being disposable break free from the criminal underworld, rewriting the rules as they build a new life on their own terms.

Ryan Gosling and Will Ferrell are attached to star.

Gold is repped by CAA and Underground Management.

By my count, this is the 12th spec script deal in 2025.
