Spec Script Deal: “The Pinkerton”

Warner Bros. acquires supernatural western spec script “The Pinkerton” written by Daniel Casey. From Deadline:

Logline is under wraps but the project is described as a supernatural revenge-western hybrid. The Pinkertons were a private security guard and detective agency established in the U.S. by Scotsman Allan Pinkerton in 1850.

Bad Robots is producing for Warners.

Finally, a spec script deal in 2020! Of course, it would be a supernatural western which is off the charts unusual.

Casey is repped by Writ Large.

By my count, this is the 1st spec script deal of 2020.
