Spec Script Deal: “The Liberators”

Warner Bros. Pictures acquires historical action drama spec script “The Liberators” written by Madison Turner. From Variety:

The project is based on a spec script written by Madison Turner and tells the story of the 761st regiment in World War II, an entirely African-American combat unit whose heroism led to the desegregation of the armed forces.

Michael B. Jordan is attached to produce and likely star.

Turner is repped by CAA and Grandview.

By my count, this is the 7th spec script deal of 2018.
