Spec Script Deal: “Meat”

Assemble Media acquires horror spec script “Meat” written by Logan Martin. From Deadline:

The script, which landed at number one on the 2017 Bloodlist, follows a misanthropic man who notices bizarre changes in himself, his wife, and the animals inhabiting the territory around their homestead as they attempt to survive self-imposed isolation.

It is an option deal.

Martin, a first-time writer, is repped by UTA and Good Fear Film + Management.

By my count, this is the 57th spec script deal in 2017.
