Spec Script Deal: “Last Christmas”

Universal Pictures acquires romance spec script “Last Christmas” written by Emma Thompson and Bryanny Kimmings. From Deadline:

The details are being kept under wraps, but I’m told Last Christmas is a holiday romance set in London.

In the package deal, Paul Feig is attached to direct.

Thompson is repped by The Agency (UK).

By my count, this is the 24th spec script deal in 2018.

There were 34 spec script deals year-to-date in 2017.
