Spec Script Deal: “Invasion”

Blumhouse Productions acquires science fiction thriller spec script “Invasion” written by John Swetnam and Harris Wilkinson. From Deadline:

Essentially, the thriller revolves around a home invasion that happens during an alien invasion… There is a strong female role in the film.

The deal includes progress to production language.

Swetnam is repped by Verve and Industry Entertainment. Wilkinson is repped by Verve.

By my count, this is the 5th spec script deal of 2018.

There were 14 spec script deals year-to-date in 2017.
