Spec Script Deal: “Familiar”

Paramount Pictures acquires horror thriller spec script “Familiar” written by Julien Magnat. Via Deadline:

Paramount Pictures has pre-emptively bought the original horror thriller script Familiar by Julien Magnat. Walter Hamada’s 18hz Productions will produce through its output deal at the studio. The plot line is being kept under wraps, but it surrounds a single mother who inadvertently invites an evil entity into her home.

Magnat is repped by Industry Entertainment.

By my count, this is the 13th spec script deal of 2024.
