Spec Script Deal: “Bring Me Back”

Legendary Pictures acquires romance spec script “Bring Me Back” written by Crosby Selander. Via Deadline:

The logline is being kept under wraps but is described as an epic love story.

The deal closed Friday night with Legendary beating out a number of buyers in the auction with sources saying the deal closed in the seven-figure range.

There may not be as many spec script deals as in years past, but there still are the occasional big dollar sales… like this one.

Selander is repped by Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment.

By my count, this is the 17th spec script deal in 2020.

There were 25 spec script deals year-to-date in 2019.
