This is a cool project: Each month, Luke Foster hosts a conversation about a notable movie script. When Luke contacted me to join a session discussing Women Talking, I jumped at the opportunity.
I had already done a six-part analysis of the script and movie on the blog. Plus, I had hosted a Q&A with writer-director Sarah Polley when there was an early screening of the movie in Chicago last November. At that time, I told Sarah I thought Women Talking would win an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Turns out, I was right.
I was excited to have the chance to discuss this superb screenplay. Here is the video of that conversation with Luke, Abbie, Deborah, and myself.
