Rita, first off, congratulations on winning Best of Show. More important, the truth of your anecdote. I once wrote a script where the agency in-house script readers completely diverged in their opinions. One thought it was utter shite, the other — and I quote — “This is the Babe Ruth of comedies.” Subjective is right. All we can do is trust our instinct … keep creating stories / art … and putting it out there.
