Interesting to note: Barbie is listed as an Original Screenplay by the WGA while the AMPAS placed in the Adapted Screenplay category. There’s no question in my mind: Barbie is an original screenplay.
I’m glad to see Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret get nominated. It’s a wonderful movie with a terrific adaptation by Kelly Fremon Craig.
