Watch this scene and think of it like a pitch meeting: Jake pitching a project, Alonzo the buyer… only he ain’t buying. This movie is a great character study. Produced by Bobby Newmyer who tragically died some years back. I got to know Bobby pretty well when Outlaw Productions optioned one of my projects. One of Hollywood’s good guys.
