There’s an interesting setup in this scene where Jody “pisses” while holding Jude’s hand. Later on, Fergus has to hold Jody’s penis while assisting the prisoner to urinate. And that is paid off when Fergus reaches under Dil’s dress only to discover a penis there. An interesting mini-subplot.
