Page One: ‘Moonstruck’ (1987)

I can’t find the movie version of the opening scene, but here’s a great moment where Loretta wakes up and realizes she’s slept with Ronny… even though she’s engaged to marry another man.

Moonstruck is a great example of simple plot… complex characters. A wonderful movie and deserving of the Academy Award Shanley received for Best Original Screenplay.
