What an incredible movie. For years, getting this movie off the ground was a passion project for screenwriter Eric Heisserer. He carried Ted Chiang’s book with him from meeting to meeting, and when asked what he most wanted to write, he’d say, “The Story of Your Life.” After a recurring litany of “nos,” he finally found someone who said “yes.”
