Maybe not as much as Begelman, but I’ve screwed up plenty of times and I’ve somehow managed to get hired to write over 30 movie and TV projects, and produce TV series. In my case, probably more about luck than talent, but I’d like to think I’ve learned something from my mistakes. I certainly share much of that knowledge with my students with the hope they can avoid some of the potholes I’ve hit in my career.
