Laura, thanks for that. Analyzing the characters and their respective functions is tricky because of that midpoint shift in perspective: from Tyler to Emily. It makes most sense to split it out to both characters as Protagonist:

M: ??
T: Ronald
P: Tyler
N: Ronald
A: Alexis
M: Coach??
T: Catherine
This is one of those stories which feels more organic than conventional Hollywood projects. It’s a good example why we need to always be open to different approaches to narrative and characters.
