J, great catch. 'City Slickers' screenwriters Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel wrote a fabulous part for Curly (Jack Palance), a wonderful Mentor figure who did, indeed, win an Oscar for his performance. But it's the words and the voice of the character which Palance embraced and inhabited that enabled him to win that award.

That line -- "one thing... that's what you've got to figure out" -- that is the essence of the Protagonist's journey. It's *inside*. It's already there. The Protagonist has to go on an external journey to facilitate their internal journey of discovery. It is not a journey of attainment, but reattainment, not discovery, but rediscovery (per J. Campbell).

Thanks for this, J. I'm now including it as a great example for my book!
