BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) has an annual Screenwriters’ Lecture series. Here is a 2017 presentation by Dee Rees whose film credits include Pariah and the upcoming An Uncivil War. She co-wrote (with Virgil Williams) the indie period piece Mudbound.
