In 2015, the DePaul University School of Cinematic Arts hosted Bruce Joel Rubin for its Courier 12 Screenwriters Conference. Rubin’s screenwriting credits include Brainstorm, Deadly Friend, Jacob’s Ladder, Deceived, My Life (which he also directed), Deep Impact, Stuart Little 2, The Last Mimzy and The Time Traveler’s Wife, and Ghost for which Rubin won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
