How I Wrote ‘Arrival’

Another in the fine audio-video series Behind The Curtain, this installment with the writer who adapted the Ted Chiang short story “Story of Your Life.”

I know Eric and he tells the story behind the story about this project which involves him carrying that Ted Chiang book around with him to virtually every meeting he took in Hollywood for years. When asked what his passion project was, he’d say, “This story.” Project passed on over and over, but his vision and persistence paid off with a magnificent movie.
