Here's my biggest takeaway on this movie which I completely adore: Don't ever think a story idea is too absurd to work. I mean, the central conceit of this movie -- the Protagonist has Adolf Hitler as an imaginary friend -- should not work for many, many reasons, but when you watch the movie, it flat out does... wonderfully.

If you haven't watched Jojo Rabbit, please do. It is a funny, touching, humanstic film and a great story.
