“Growin’ Up Zas”

A brand new animated family series written, directed, produced, and starring Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav.

Well, not really. This is an animated spoof courtesy of TV writer-producer Scott Gairdner.

As the announcer in the video clip says: “Who needs writers when Mr. Zaslav can improvise the dialogue himself!”

It’s a funny bit, but puts a spotlight on what is becoming increasingly clear about the Warner Bros. Discovery CEO: He doesn’t understand what’s involved in creating cinematic stories.

If this strike were about who’s winning the social media war, the referee would have stopped the fight already. WGA wins in a TKO.

Unfortunately, this is a war of attrition and apparently what the resolution will come down to is how much financial hurt Zaslav and his cronies are willing to endure.
