The relationship featuring Dominic and Siobahn barely qualifies as a subplot with interchange the only extended conversation between the pair, but it provides one of the movie’s most memorable moments.

The fact that there is no hope for any sort of romantic relationship between Dominic and Siobahn echoes the disconnect between Colm and Pádraic.

This is such a wonderful movie.
