As far as memorable scenes in science fiction movies go, this one ranks right up there.
Plot summary: A blade runner must pursue and terminate four replicants who stole a ship in space and have returned to Earth to find their creator.

Screen setup: Replicant leader Roy Batty confronts skip tracer Deckard.

This is interesting. From the script:

That voice-over was used in one version of the movie. The excerpt above doesn’t have it. I think it works better. Batty’s death — in silence — is even more dramatic than with Deckard’s chatter.
Sometimes the best dialogue … is no dialogue.
