Trivia: The movie was originally to be called “Southern Belle”, to avoid possible legal problems with real “Memphis Belle” crew. But none of the crew members objected.

Dialogue On Dialogue: The crew thinks they’ve been shot, but it turns out the ‘blood’ is — as the dialogue says — “tomato soup”.
