Trivia: Annie (played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley) reacts in horror at her father’s suggestion of a barbecue/picnic wedding reception, opting instead for a more elegant event. In real life, Kimberly’s wedding reception was much more casual than that of Annie’s, it actually was more of a down-home barbecue picnic. The actress married country singer Brad Paisley in 2003, about twelve years after the release of this film.
