“What’s in there is ours. It belongs to us. They got our money. Our hard earned paper. They snuck in last night when we was asleep, took our pants off the chair and emptied our wallet. They got what is rightfully ours. So let’s take it back. What is rightfully ours.”
— Baby Driver (2017), written by Edgar Wright
The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: Robbery.
Trivia: Edgar Wright started to work on this film in 1995, but didn’t finish the script until 2011, and the film until 2017. However, he received the advance for it in 2007. He introduced the world premiere of the film at SXSW by thanking his producer for not suing him for this.
Dialogue On Dialogue: A ‘pre-game’ speech from the ‘coach’ to inspire the robbery.
