Then when I got old enough, she started doing plays after work. And I would go watch them. There was this one play she did. I completely forgot I was watching my mother. I was just watching this woman. All the other people on stage were men and they were… they were all terrible. And she was just holding them all together, holding them up. Then one of the guys had this line that makes her… makes her character laugh…”
