“Hello, Peter, what’s happening? Ummm, I’m gonna need you to go ahead come in tomorrow. So if you could be here around nine, that would be great, mmmk… oh oh! and I almost forgot… ahh, I’m also gonna need you to go ahead and come in on Sunday too, ‘kay? We… ahh, lost some people this week and ahh, we sorta need to play catch up.”

Trivia: There was a scene cut from the film which showed Lumbergh reacting angrily to his Porsche getting towed. Gary Cole said he was glad the scene was taken out, because he felt the Lumbergh character needed to remain at the same emotional state at all times.

Dialogue On Dialogue: That’s the thing about Lumbergh (Gary Cole) as a boss in Office Space. His low-key approach to everything makes his tyranny off the nose in terms of tone.
