“Excellent!”

Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1988), written by Chris Matheson, Ed Solomon

The Daily Dialogue theme for the week: One Word. Today’s suggestion by @mauracampbell00.

Trivia: Bill and Ted began as a stand-up act, in which the characters would discuss current events without knowing what they were talking about. Originally, there was a third character named Bob, but the comedian who played him lost interest after a few performances.

Dialogue On Dialogue: This one-word exclamation repeated by Bill and Ted frequently in the movie became so well known, when the city in which the movie was set celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010, their slogan was “San Dimas, 1960–2010 — An Excellent Adventure.”
