Becky, good to hear. I find that people watch movies and TV. They write pages. But the one area in which they lag is reading scripts. There's a kind of Gestalt learning that takes place - the more you read, the more you start to develop an intuitive sense about things like writing scenes, pace, transitions. It's like this knowledge gets absorbed on a pre-conscious level. Sounds strange, I know, but I hearken back to my early days in Hollywood when I devoured every script I could get my hands on and at some point, somethings just clicked.

Anyhow, I encourage you to keep at it. I'll be posting something in early January: 30 Days of Screenplays: Vol. 3, soliciting suggestions for the next round in that series.
