Mentor: Bear in mind, there are Positive Mentors and Negative Mentors, so Trapp and Kwame Ture slot in quite comfortably into those roles. How about this: Negative Mentor = David Duke. He espouses a world view which is contrary to Ron’s world view, but it is a coherent, if bigoted take on reality.
Trickster: I concur that Bridges fills that role.
