Today’s Inspirational Video

Of course, the Zero Draft Thirty community has our very own inspirational critter: Scamper the Hamster.

Today, we welcome another inspirational critter: Motivational Lizard.

Hey, there friend. I know you’ve been having some troubles lately. Be the person I know you can be. Don’t leave anything up to chance. I believe in you, pal. We ALL believe in you. UR a winner, kiddo. Don’t you ever forget.

Today’s Anita Loos Award winner: Wendy Propps Casto.

Over at the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group page, Wendy posted this.

Thanks, Wendy. Your post gives me the opportunity to revisit one of my blog’s most popular series: The 10 Steps: How I Write A Script.

Part 1: Story Concept

Part 2: Brainstorming

Part 3: Research

Part 4: Character Development

Part 5: Plotting

Part 6: Outline

Part 7: Script Diary

Part 8: First Draft

Part 9: Rewriting

Part 10: Editing

Obviously there is learning screenwriting theory, and the hard work and time to put in to find your characters and break your story, but in terms of a practical step-by-step approach to writing a script, this is probably as good as any.

Thanks again, Wendy. You are today’s Anita Loos Award recipient!

Congratulations, Wendy! I trust you’ll print the award and post in a primes spot at your writer’s desk.
