If THAT didn’t get your creative juices going, I don’t know what will!
Today’s Anita Loos Award winner: Phoenix Black.
Over at the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group page, Phoenix posted this:
Have this taped to my desk. Starting today at page 19. Today have to get them from war into civilian life.

At the start of every university course I teach, we discuss this saying: Follow your bliss. Indeed, it was the first words I wrote on the whiteboard in my office, the day I began my gig at DePaul University in September 2016.

What is bliss? I describe it this way to my students.
“Find that part of you which enlivens you. Which brings you joy. Which is unique to who you are. Something you want to share with the world. Some aspect of who you are you are passionate to learn and grow and develop. More than likely, that is your bliss. Avocation or vocation, if you discover it … follow it. For that is the path upon which you will discover your authentic life.”
No matter what form it takes, your bliss is creative.
Share it with others.
That your joy may inspire others.
For that inspiration, the recipient of today’s Anita Loos Award is Phoenix Black!

Congratulations, Phoenix! Feel to print this award and post it at your writing desk for inspiration.
