Today’s Writing Quote

“A movie is about an emotional struggle. The physical struggle is a manifestation of that.”

Today’s Inspirational Video

What if a movie reviewer took LSD before screening some movies? That’s the premise of this SNL skit.

Today’s Anita Loos Award winner: Mark Mackey!

Over at the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group page, Mark posted this:

Finished on page 107 on day eleven.

There you go! Fade In. Fade Out. My suggestion to Mark:

Way to go, Mark! I recommend you set that project aside for a few weeks. Why not use the last two weeks of this Challenge to start breaking a new story?

It’s a great way to make use of the time and create some distance between the writer and the just-finished script. You need time to develop a “fresh” set of eyeballs to give the script an objective read.

For the Fade Out accomplishment, the recipient of today’s Anita Loos Award is Mark Mackey!

Congratulations, Ingrid! Feel to print this award and post it at your writing desk for inspiration.
