I recently discovered the composer Akira Rabelais whose work extends over quite a bit of musical geography. His last album “the little glass” is primarily comprised of ambient keyboard pieces. This one is especially contemplative and I find great for writing.

I’ve been reworking my draft that I plan to finish by the 28th. And I have to say that my trip to my family helped me to come up with a more dynamic story. My thoughts about this? It’s good to bond with family. If this isn’t possible, it’s still great to find a way to step out of your life if only for a moment to give perspective.
Well said. Writing is important. But nothing is as important as family. For that reminder, the recipient of today’s Anita Loos Award is Holly Soriano!
