Today’s Writing Quote
“A great script creates an irresistible narrative flow that propels a reader to an inevitable dramatic conclusion.”
— Javier Grillo-Marxuach
Today’s Inspirational Video
This amazing performance may have been the moment where Janis Joplin became JANIS JOPLIN. She totally grabbed the audience and would not let them go. An object lesson for our screenwriting.
Today’s Anita Loos Award winner: R.M. Elliott.
Over at the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group page, R.M. posted this:
Congrats to the finishers and those still winding away. Remember Outlaws don’t let others define they’re success. I just finished editing a Christmas screenplay while writing another. (Hopefully finishing it by Friday.) Let’s hang in there and make good use of Scott’s margarita machine soon. CONTINUE writing and creating the story you’re supposed to tell.
R.M. is “old school” Zero Draft Thirty, one of the original Outlaws. In his honor, a virtual margarita!

And an Anita Loos Award to boot!

Congratulations and salute, R. M!
