Today’s Writing Quote
“It’s all about what happens next, what happens next. It’s speed chess, not chess.”
— Richard Price
Today’s Inspirational Video
I recently discovered the composer Akira Rabelais whose work extends over quite a bit of musical geography. His last album “the little glass” is primarily comprised of ambient keyboard pieces. This one is especially contemplative and I find great for writing.
Today’s Loos Award winner: Sophia Louisa.
Over at the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group, Sophia posted this:
Two rewrites. Working with a producer. About to embark on yet another set of notes. Why? I want to see each character come to life. March was supposed to be writing a new script. Instead it was layering an existing script. All good. More people involved. Writers are creators. Envisioning and populating worlds with thought to paper. Working with producers who believe in those thoughts is rather awesome as it expands the consciousness of the world. Yet… finding myself anxious to get it done so I can start creating that new world for another script. — -#breathe #OneStepAtATime
For that inspiration, today’s Anita Loos Award recipient is Sophia Louisa!

The thing about a Zero Draft Thirty Challenge is it’s flexible. You may start out with the intention of writing a new story. Suddenly, you get a call from a producer who wants you to work on an existing one. No problem. Switch! Use the thirty days wisely. Just like Sophia is doing. And best of luck on that!
Only a handful of days left! Want an Anita Loos Award? Upload an inspirational thought or photo here, on Twitter, or the Facebook group. Aspire to inspire! The spirit of the Award!

Final Thoughts: Voices in your mind may say, “Your story is no good. Writing is too hard. You suck.” Here’s how you fight them: Write the next sentence.
