Today’s Loos Award winner: Stephen Dudley.
Over in the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group, Stephen posted this:
To paraphrase William Blake, “Every day as a moment of eternity waiting for you.” I think this is what happens when we truly immerse ourselves in our story worlds so much we lose all sense of time. There, we can connect with the timeless part of ourselves and get into the ‘flow’ of writing. I can’t say it happens to me every day but it feels amazing when it happens.
Writing from “Fade In” to “Fade Out” in 30 days requires a consistent immersion into a story and the lives of its characters. Word by word, page by page and hour by hour, you’ll get there.

For that piece of inspiration, today’s recipient of the Anita Loos Award is Stephen Dudley!

Thanks, Stephen, again for the Zero Draft Thirty calendar!

Final Thoughts: There are no screenwriting rules. There are conventions, patterns, paradigms. Know them, but don’t let them constrain your creativity.
