Today’s Writing Quote
“In any story there are three elements: persons, a situation, and the fact that in the end something has changed. If nothing has changed, it isn’t a story.”

Day 1, just 3 pages…but excited to finally be taking this challenge on!

It took 2 years and 5 very different versions, but I finally have a draft I’m (reasonably) happy with! And it all started here. Now I’m ready to join you all in starting a new adventure!
That’s right. Shawn began a project in the 2018 Zero Draft Thirty March Challenge and stuck with it through 5 rewrites. And now, he’s starting a NEW project with the 2020 Zero Draft Thirty March Challenge.
That’s the spirit! And for that bit of inspiration, today’s Anita Loos Award goes to Shawn Adams!

Why not join the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group? It’s a terrific community and during this month’s challenge, we are hosting a Zoom Room where you can enter and join others for writing scampers. Video on. Microphone off. It’s like you’re in a virtual café. With no coffee. No music. No noise.
Okay, so it’s not like you’re in a café. But you are in a virtual room with other writers from all around the world. Keeps you working, I’ll tell you that!
Onward!
