Okay, one week to go for the Zero Draft Thirty Challenge. How’s everyone doing? Progress report?
Some interesting responses. Some were making good progress, others not so much. This one from Nick von Schlippe caught my eye:
Sticking religiously to writing every day, even if only for a few minutes sometimes, I’ve made huge progress on the first draft of a sci-fi script I’ve had in my head for years. It’s gone through many changes and taken on several lives of its own but at last I will have something to work with!
I love these type of anecdotes, where a writer has had something in their head for years, but as a result of the ZD30 Challenge, they now have a draft in hand. Hugely inspiring making something out of nothing.
