Today’s Writing Quote
“Don’t write what they want, they don’t know what they want, just make it GOOD.”
— Nora Ephron
Today’s Inspirational Video
Okay, I confess… I’m a horrible dancer. But THIS GUY is incredible. So I stand in awe of him.
Imagine the amount of time this dude had to spend practicing his dancing chops. Now translate that type of commitment to your own writing.
Aspire to write as powerfully as this guy dances.
Today’s Loos Award winner: Wendy Young
This was my first scamper-a-thon. I will continue to write like a beast this month, availing myself of the hive energy. May the fruit of all our labors be sweet as honey!!!

The beginning of the 2019 Zero Draft Thirty March Challenge just happened to coincide with the Zero Draft Thirty group’s monthly 24 Writing Scamper-A-Thon. What’s that, you say? From Midnight (Eastern / U.S.), the first Friday of every month through Midnight Saturday, 24 writers from around the world host hourly writing scampers (it’s like a writing sprint only we have more fun because… hamsters). Everyone is invited to join in. The idea: Write on weekends. Even if only 1 hour. Keep the momentum going.
So congratulations to Wendy for participating in her first Scamper-A-Thon and her kind wishes to everyone… making her today’s recipient of the Anita Loos Award!

Our next Scamper-A-Thon will happen Friday, April 5th and you are cordially invited to join us.
In fact, now’s a damn good time for you to go on your own writing scamper. Set an alarm for one hour… and scamper on. Make some progress on your current Zero Draft!
