Today’s Writing Quote
“Each writer starts differently, but the only valid way is start with character. Character IS plot. Character IS story.”
— Eleanor Perry
Today’s Inspirational Video
Joseph Campbell was born on March 26, 1904 and to celebrate his birthday, check out the conversation in the video above with one of the great thinkers about Story, Creativity, and Life.
Campbell said: “Follow your bliss. The bliss is the message of God to yourself. That’s where your life is”. As writers, we follow our bliss every time we sit down to engage our stories. In that enthusiasm, we come alive.
Today’s Loos Award winner: Thomas Gudeli.
That’s confidence: On page 50, but you know you get through the draft for a full-length screenplay. That’s a big part of the zero draft spirit, not only to embrace productivity over perfectionism in freeing up oneself to write every day, but also embracing the goal of reaching FADE OUT.
For that inspiration, the recipient of today’s Anita Loos Award is Thomas Gudeli!

Less than one week until the end of this challenge. Push forward as much as you can. Even if you don’t hit FADE OUT, do your best to make progress on your scripted project. Any progress is progress!
Onward!
