Today’s Writing Quote
“It’s all about what happens next, what happens next. It’s speed chess, not chess.”

Today’s Inspirational Video
I recently discovered the composer Akira Rabelais whose work extends over quite a bit of musical geography. His last album “the little glass” is primarily comprised of ambient keyboard pieces. This one is especially contemplative and I find great for writing.
Today’s Loos Award winner: Simon Littlefield.
Simon posted this in the Zero Draft Thirty Facebook group:
I’ve not been active on the ZD30 forum this time around, but knowing you are all on the same journey has helped me to write over 70 pages and reach FADE OUT on the zero draft of a drama pilot script I’ve been trying to figure out how to write for years. Keep on typing, Zeronauts!

“I’ve been trying to figure out how to write for years.” Over the years, I’ve heard something similar from dozens of writers who participated in the Zero Draft Thirty Challenge. Sometimes, it just takes the commitment to just get the damn thing done to figure out how to do it.
For that inspiration, the recipient of today’s Anita Loos Award is Simon Littlefield!

Two more days, people! Let’s finish strong!
